In the rainforest biome you can feel the humid temperatures of south-east Asia, west Africa and tropical South America and take in the sight of indigenous plants and exhibits of sugar cane, bananas and coffee that aim to show the connection between these far-off lands with the UK, which imports such produce from warmer regions.
Meanwhile, in the Mediterranean Biome, you'll see the vibrant colours of citrus fruits growing on trees alongside olives and vines that are common to Mediterranean climates.
The project holds all kinds of events and sessions during the year, so check the programme before your visit. Youngsters might enjoy a day of den-making outdoors, connecting with nature and burning off some energy, while whole families could find lessons on how to grow your own fruit and vegetables interesting.
At the centre you'll also find plenty of musical performances are given, so you might like to make sure your visit coincides with a gig by one of the most famous acts of modern times that play during the outdoor Eden Sessions.
